Well where do I start? Your rooms are horrible! So much worse condition then two years ago when I stayed here. Tv didn’t work all the nights, we called and we were told to change the channel. Hot water for showers every other day. Housekeeping unannounced. Windows are locked, no fresh air in your stinky motel. Doors are noisy to open and close. Sinks don’t drain, either one! Toilet barely flushes. No exhaust in the bathroom. Air conditioner and heater don’t work. Horrible static in your laundry of sheets. Ummmmm and the food every morning for breakfast was just as bad… cold every single morning!!! How do you have cold potatoes and eggs right after you make them? I rarely leave reviews for anything, despite the fact that I rely on reviews during the decision making process. I felt I needed to leave a review for this hotel. We drove to Montana and stayed 1 night on our way through. I don't need much from a hotel. A clean room, a reasonably comfortable bed, and a clean shower and I'm content. The outside landscape had me a bit concerned at first when we drove up. Nothing bad, but the area isn't lovely, so I assumed the hotel would be less than I hoped for. But, no. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. No mold in the corners of the shower. The bed was comfortable enough that I slept very well. And the best part, no lingering cigarette smell. I am a Choice member and I was charged $50 + tax for a (1) day early checkout after being a guest for 4 days for work. I spoke to the desk clerk on Wednesday afternoon about my change in work schedule/location and will need to check out on Thursday morning instead of Friday as planned. I specifically asked about any additional charges that I’d have to get approved by my work manager for any additional expense approvals, in which the desk clerk stated no extra charge for checking out 1 day early and not a problem, especially since I am a Choice member. I woke up on Thursday morning to see a receipt that was slid under my door that included an additional charge of $50 + tax for early checkout. Our room on the first floor had signs of a leak from the ceiling at the exterior wall/corner down the entire way that rippled the wallpaper. The fridge was turned at an angle to cover most of the leak. I wondered if the wall mirror next to it also covered more stains. I didn't want the mold. That room has a long tear in each of the sheer curtains, the thermostat on the wall had its cover removed, and the tv did not operate. The front desk person was very responsive and came to solve the tv problem. Something was plugged into the wrong spot. She left as the tv went through the process of resetting. Overall we had a good stay. Beds were comfortable, staff were very friendly. But there were a few glitches. 1. When we arrived the front desk attendant informed us there would be no hot breakfast items tomorrow because the cook had vehicle problems, but assured us they would be available on Sunday. They weren’t! 2. Upon arrival in our room things appeared to be fine. When we went to get ready for dinner the vanity light over the sink was not working. I informed the front desk, they said maintenance would fix it while we were out. They didn’t! I informed the front desk of the issue, they were. Very apologetic and stated they would have maintenance get it repaired while we were out for the day. They didn’t!
