Comfort Inn East Windsor - Springfield

Really nice staff, felt really bad for the housekeeper because she was alone to clean 30 rooms. The hotel is a non-smoking one however I hated that people stood at the front door smoking and no one stopped them, also the elevator reeks of smoke as well. Also smelt like people were smoking in their rooms too. I had a little hiccup one night with the hot water but other than that it was ok. Nice location with a restaurant across the street and a plaza you could walk to.

The the stay was fine. The bed was very comfortable, but the hotel isn’t as clean as it should be. The floor of the elevator had marks all over it that were easy enough to clean. I was going to mention it to the staff, but then I saw a housekeeping staff member go into the elevator and assumed it would be cleaned. When I went back up later in the day the same marks were on the floor. Our room was mostly clean, but they were quite a few hairs around in the bathroom. The breakfast options were limited. The stay wasn’t that bad but not as good as other Comfort Inn's I’ve stayed at.

Arrival on Saturday evening, status in loyalty program not recognized. Given room on third floor. Get to the room there is a red light on the card reader and of course both keycards do not work. Down to the front desk and FDC said he thought "they had fixed the lock". |It now seems that we will have to stop and wait at the front desk for the FDC to escort us to our room to let us in via a physical key. |Asked for a different room and told there is none available. At this point, we just felt we had to deal with and enter our room.|Room was basically clean but small things stood out with dust in corners, dirty ice bucket and cover with NO liner for the ice (Used a ziplock I had). Steer far away from this place!!! The place is dirty, horribly managed and not worth the price. An embarrassment to the Comfort Inn name. We arrive check in and our room key does not work! Get a new key, the room is dirty with crumbs on the floor, and some lubricant packets on the floor,and there are no normal size towels only hand towels. Have to get new towels. Only one person working, it’s not even 4:00pm. Next day I am taking a nap someone is trying to come into the room. My room key was disconnected so go downstairs to have it fixed. Apparently the we were marked as no show in the system. Funny cause they still had charged us.

Read this if you’re considering booking this hotel From the moment I pulled in, the vibe was immediately off. The parking lot is small and there were a lot of cars, but somehow the place still felt creepy and oddly deserted. It just didn’t feel welcoming or safe. Walking into the building was even worse. The smell hit me right away—musty, sweaty, and with a strong marijuana odor throughout. I don’t have breathing problems, but it was so bad that I genuinely felt like I couldn’t breathe in there.
