Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Chippewa Falls

Love staying here for business. Excellent restaurant--a bit high end, but worth it! Suggest ordering half orders of the sides as portion is huge! Rooms clean. Bed so comfy with pillow options! Always friendly staff! Cute downtown corridor to explore!

The breakfast area was busy and me and my three kids sat down in the area when “Jon” from this hotel came to the table and started moving around our plates and silverware. I moved them back and when my kids started to eat cereal, he moved them again. I asked him to not move my kids’ silverware and such and he started explaining that those are “his” and not for us. I told him to not touch my kids’ silverware and such and it was extremely odd and uncomfortable. He said again they were “his” and then asked me, “do you want to do the dishes?” He said we could sit where we were at but that we weren’t supposed to be sitting where we were at… Also, my 7 year had dropped a fork and knife, Jon put it back on a place setting - she had put it on the side on the table so as not to use it- it loo

Positive: Location Negative: I had an additional $50 dollar charge added to my credit card that I was not told about. I received an email from my C.C. company. I haven't checked yet but hoping it was for incidentals and was removed at check out.

Overall nice hotel. Sometimes hard to find the front desk staff, but they are friendly when you find them. Water pressure is fantastic in the shower and shower head is tall enough for a 6 foot person. Lighting is a bit dim in the room but very quiet rooms. Would stay again.

We came to Chippewa Fall for a nice weekend trip to see the amazing Holiday lights. Saw that the Cobblestone had good reviews, a good breakfast, restaurant and was on a cute street with fun shops. We booked a night, saw the Holiday light show at nearby Irvine Park (donations). We had the best time here! We stayed in room 408, it was comfortable, very, very clean, and the bed was very comfy!! There is an indoor pool and small exercise room. The breakfast (included in our reservation) was delish. A few hot dishes were very good, waffles. Biscuits and gravy, fluffy scrambled eggs, cereal, yogurts, muffins, coffee, teas and water were included. Very good!
