Coast Osoyoos Beach Hotel

Not sure how this hotel has a 4 star review at the time of writing. Stayed in the offseason and the rates were close to some of the nicer resorts but because of availability - wasn’t able to book a resort room. Very let down with this hotel. The rooms are really sparse, poor layout, carpet and limited lighting. Motel style, so your windows are open to a hallway so therefore no natural lighting. Faucets in my washroom didn’t work properly. Mattresses and linens were clean. If you are hurting for a place to sleep, then this would do. They should not be charging the rates they charge - especially if you can get into any of the other hotels in the area for a marginally higher rate. The amenities are spare.

Was surprisingly let down by this hotel and it was mainly due to a few things beyond the owner's control. When this building was designed, it created two corners that make an alcove of nasty smelling hot air as rooms are situated there and the ACs vent in to it. When it's 40 degrees out, leaving the upper floor hallway and out to the second floor's outer balcony, and leaving our room to swipe in to that indoor hallway, was not something my daughter and I looked forward to. When we got to the lobby, it was lovely and cool and nicely decorated. The breakfast area was similar so I had felt good about it; then came the room. Aside from the above unfortunate location, our room did not feel as clean as I expected Coast Hotels to be - the bathroom was full of fruit flies and the bathroom window

Great location with views of the Lake and mountains.|Positives: Free parking, continental breakfast included, free use of sun loungers, paddle boards, kayak and within easy walk of the town centre. Staff helpful and friendly.|Negatives: Standard rooms are more motel than hotel and with windows not double glazed you get the road noise and air con noises if a light sleeper even with ear plugs in! Indoor pool area is a little tired and gym room cramped.

Coast Osoyoos Beach Hotel is my new favourite spot in BC. The serene beachfront, friendly staff, and fantastic service have won us over. Breakfast was complimentary and excellent. Lots of variety, even including pancakes and Starbucks Coffee! Rooms are large. Beds were very comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job. There were no issues. The hotel staff were very personable and kind our entire stay.

i travel from Manitoba to BC every year for the last 20 years, your WIFI is the worst i have encountered, you need to do something about that, everything else in your hotel was great, the best cleaning i have seen in a long time, in our room but also everywhere else i walked in that hotel, the breakfast room was spotless for the 6 days we stayed there, i congratulate you in having cleaners that care about what they are doing and it shows, the same goes for the front desk workers. One of the questions asked was, Would you stay at Coast Osoyoos Beach Hotel again? my answer was a 5 i would given you a 100 but only goes to 5, Please, Please, get your WIFI problem fixed. I would recommend if you are staying in Osoyoos to check this place out, I'm sure that the slow WIFI problems will be dealt
