Club Wyndham Newport Overlook

We just finished a wonderful stay at this resort and couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Newport, this is the perfect spot.||About a week before check-in, we received a call from Isabelle, who reminded us that check-in takes place at their sister property, the Bay Voyage Inn, and asked if we had any special requests. Isabelle is truly a gem—she listens carefully and goes out of her way to make your stay special. When we arrived that morning and saw her again, we were thrilled! Our last visit was in the fall, and seeing her felt like reuniting with an old friend—we even hugged like two friends picking up right where we left off. Let's do an update , let's not until the maintenance fees actually go to maintenance. Bulbs out , toilet float stuck , cabinet doors rubbing due to loose hinge , door knobs loose , light left on in locked maintenance room. & why no ice maker in fridge ?

We very much enjoyed our week At Newport Overlook. We had booked last Christmas week,and received a lovely unit overlooking the water and bridge. Our second visit was over Easter week. I was initially disappointed when we received another unit with no water view, but I actually really liked the unit we were in (unit 1). It was really nice and spacious. No upper deck, but a nice patio off the living room that looked out on a nice lawn and woods. You could walk down the lawn or driveway to see the water and the bridge. The unit was open and spacious with lots of light. The living room furniture was a bit dated, but in excellent condition and very comfortable. The sleep sofa was also very comfortable||First floor bedroom was very large with two twin beds, bureau, and two double closets.

We're currently staying at this quiet coastal resort. Our gorgeous waterfront duplex unit boasts two bedrooms, two and a half baths, fully stocked kitchen, a handy washer/dryer, and even a grill on the front lawn. Plus, we've got our very own parking spot! And if we feel like exploring, downtown Newport is just a hop across the Pell Bridge.||This place is clean, spacious, and offers stunning water views. A week before our arrival, we got a call from the resort letting us know that check-in is now at the Bay Voyage Inn just down the street. ||The front desk team—Isabelle, Zachery, John, and Ruth—couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. Isabelle, in particular, seems to have a knack for resolving any issues and anticipating guests' needs to ensure we have a great stay. ||This trip is turning

Booked a week before my trip, didn’t give me a heads up until an hour before check in that they were over booked and transferred us to a different hotel with 0 amenities without telling us while also charging me already. This is also causing me to spend even more money on eating out every day as well as causing me to waste my groceries I had bought in preparation to the stay. (Side note an anonymous source told me this hotel overbooks on purpose as well)
