Club Wyndham Bay Voyage Inn

Very nice. We liked our room. The inn is clean and well maintained. Be warned it fid not have a full kitchen. Jamestown is quiet. However, if you want the activity of Newport it is better to stay in Newport. The bridge to Jamestown is $6.00 each way, and parking in Newport is a nightmare! So better to stay in Newport, park at your resort, and walk our use the free trolley system to get around!

Had a my daughter's baby shower here. The room was clean with a great view of the Newport Bridge and Jamestown harbor. The food was very good and served at the proper time to keep the flow of the party going.

We brought our whole family to Jamestown, a wonderful island where we have lived and loved. The Bay Voyages great location and promise of a pool, a nice grilling area and kitchen in the rooms helped to make our selection.As close as three days before our arrival, the concierge was reassuring my concerns about the very limited kitchen facilities (only a microwave and Mini fridge) by telling as about the nice grilling options and outside area to eat . Imagine our disappointment when we arrived to discover the pool had been closed for 10 days. And what is absolutely senseless, the grill is located in the pool area and they would not allow us to enter and grill under any circumstances (we offered to sign waiver stating we would not go in the pool but would only grill). We were given the option

Small room but given its history and makeover it looks great. Be aware that to get to Newport you must cross a toll bridge and pay both ways, so get a meter for a rental car or pay high fees. Great place for a peaceful beach trip.

Pros- Great location with beautiful views nice friendly staff, had an ice machine with 10lb bags for ice free washer and dyer and clean Cons- small rooms, only partial kitchen actually had everything you needed minus something to cook on. Had one gas grill located in pool area which the deck from the restaurant was right above by only a few feet and the restaurant deck came almost to the pool fence. Needless to say i didn’t want to be grilling spending time with my family while patrons of the restaurant was right above, nor did i want to go sit at the pool for the same reason. Also, outside seating was limited to entrance and pool area pics were misleading and disappointing. Over all it was a great experience and there was ways of working around the cons.
