Clearwater Hotel

DO NOT STAY EVEN IF DESPERATE! This place is NOT being cleaned AT ALL!! Black mold growing on the walls, exit doors are ALL broken so ANYONE can walk into the halls and room area from the outside! Food still left in the fridge and god knows when it was cleaned last. Microwave growing stuff inside it. Bathroom had toothpaste ALL OVER. Carpet in the halls have not been vacuumed nor cleaned in probably 10 years. Hand rails up to 2nd floor have not been cleaned or wiped in about the same time as the carpets. Smell of weed all through the floors. This is not safe for anyone to be staying in. Black mold is no joke and the owners could care less. They are not even friendly and show no desire to just keep the place clean. I understand it’s a 2star hotel but cleanliness should and is a standar

Booked a delux king size room , got a standard . Okay I'm humble I'm not complaining . The back door of the room leading outside isn't closed securely . Asked to change rooms and to please go upstairs because I'm a pregnant female and I don't feel comfortable basically got told all well check out it you don't like it . Rooms paid for a week in advance , refuses to give refund . Owners are extremely rude, nasty and just horrible people with no morals ... From the moment I got here I've been targeted and stereotyped . These people do not care about how nice & respectfully you've approached every situation with them. They want to bring you out of character so they can kick you out and keep your money . DO NOT RENT FROM CLEARWATER HOTEL UNLESS YOUR DESPERATE!!! I lowered my standards and came

We booked a room 2 nights it was automatically taken off our credit card..we canceled 24 hours ahead do to a family situation. They will NOT REFUND our money or even a portion of it. We are out almost 600.00.we can not afford to lose that much money..we are seniors on a fixed income..this is our first time away in many years. We were never at this hotel. We feel as they took advantage of us as senior citizens. Who has 600.00 they can just lose? We were not treated fairly, and were taken advantage of..DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS AT THIS HOTEL..THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF😢.

If I could give this no stars, I would. Before we arrived, we called and it took calling 3 times then having to wait an hour and call back just to get ahold of them. When we arrived, the gentleman at the desk informed me that there would be $100 deposit. He gave us our room number and didn’t fully explain where the building or room was located. We found it on our own. We walked in to the building, there was no security whatsoever and the hallway wreaked of a dead animal or something. We make it to the room, the door looks as if someone tried to break into in the past. We get in to the room, immediately there was a large cockroach in the bathroom, my boyfriend gets to the other side of the room and finds 2 more large roaches. I gave it a 2 because the staff were very nice with refunding me, but do not bring your family here. This is the perfect place for someone down on there luck needing some where to stay for the low. The staff are so nice and friendly but the rooms are awful. The whole building smells, you feel sick as soon as you walk in the room. The pool is tiny, a bathtub. And it's nothing like the pictures. Stay away if your looking for a vacation on a budget.
