Cipher Green RV Park

I have been here for 2 years. That feels stranger than it sounds. My wife and I have been traveling the country since 2020, but 2 years ago this quiet piece of heaven was too good to move on. Living on wheels and moving around can be trying at times. Campgrounds can be cramped, poorly managed, dramatic, and less than desirable. Not Cipher Green. The new owner, Vivian, and the Camp Host, Laurie, have turned this wonderful place into the greatest campground we have yet had the pleasure of visiting. The pond is peaceful, the grounds are immaculate, and the management is top tier. This place was awesome! Was here for seven months. Quiet and in the country. Owners and host are wonderful. Beautiful property. The pond is lovely, but we loved the large open field. Our dogs were happy as they could be running around out there. Mexican place in Magnolia is great and closest restaurant. Few other gems we found in the area. Alfredo’s in Clinton, Mike’s Farm in the area, Country Squire is a treat. Pizza Corner is great. The Wash House is clean and well maintained. Grocery stores are relatively close and different options. Close to Wilmington. We thank them for being such great hosts.

Whether you’re a traveling professional looking for a peaceful home base or a family heading toward the coast, this park offers a level of quiet rejuvenation that is hard to find elsewhere. I was first drawn to the place because of their list of rules, knowing this would a safe place. We need a place to stay for 2 months while our house was being finished. This was the perfect spot to decompress from our move. We were in the section by I40 which I thought would be a problem but quickly became "white noise" to lull us to sleep. I would have given it 4, but I had 2 issues that WERE a big deal to me. Might not be for others, we're not the same. Seriously a great park, nice and open, Quiet too. The park itself was well-kept, My issue is there was no laundry. And the payment situation, he failed to mention and the website or text message that payments are check and cash only. If you're paying with a company card, be prepared. Not only that, but it took 1 day before we left to meet him. He was nice. The Chapel is out of service. Closed off. Again those were my biggest issues, but other than that, it's a fantastic stay at this park.

We love it here. Very quiet for the most part, close to the interstate, very easily accessible. My son loves the pond and fishing. Updating my review as we are approaching having our camper here for a year. The campground is always nicely maintained, as it has grown it isn't as quiet as it used to be but still very peaceful and most everyone is friendly. There's many people with dogs and most do not currently follow the rules of keeping their dogs leashed which makes it hard for those of us who do. Cell service and internet can be slow at times. Overall compared to other campgrounds this one is by far the most peaceful. If you're looking for a quiet, easily accessible, affordable place to stay this is it.
