Loved our stay here. We had a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom, both rooms were great! The location is unbeatable, being walking distance to almost every sightseeing opportunity was a huge bonus. We all enjoyed having a full kitchen and separate bathrooms on separate floors. Workout room and parking deck access were much appreciated. Front desk staff were all great. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

When we arrived Sunday, the hotel's WiFi was down so they were unable to create a roomkey. As a result, every time we returned to the hotel, we had to stop at the front desk and someone had to accompany us to our room to use their master key. Monday morning, just before my wife was going to take a shower (before heading out on a tour), the hotel sent a text that they were turning the water off to fix a plumbing problem. Literally, no notice. About 1:30pm, they said it would be another hour. At 6:30pm - after we were still unable to shower before going to our dinner reservation - they said the water was back on. But it wasn't. We - and others - told them there was no pressure and little/no flow. And it wasn't air flushing out of the line either - just nothing. They clearly still ha

The absolute worst hotel property/experience I have stayed in decades. We were in town for my son's wedding weekend. When we checked in, we were not informed that the hotel didn't have water, we found out when we got to our room and found a paper taped to our door. We had a formal rehearsal dinner to host that evening, need to shower and change to formal attire. We were told that the water would be turned back on in 30 minutes. that was a lie. Water was not turned back on until 10PM that evening. We had to "bathe" and wash our hair with bottles of water and washcloths. Our toilet didn't flush the entire stay, even after the water was turned back on. My son's room next door had a leak in the ceiling; water was dripping on the furniture for 2 days. The staff just came in and put towels under

The location is excellent perfectly positioned for exploring the historic district, with everything within easy walking distance. It’s truly one of the property’s strongest assets. The inn carries a charming, old-world character that gives it personality and a sense of place. The historic vibe adds warmth and authenticity, especially for travelers seeking something beyond a standard hotel experience. However, one morning I encountered a cockroach in the bathroom sink. While older buildings can present maintenance challenges, this is an issue that significantly impacts comfort and cleanliness perception. Pest control and preventive maintenance should be a priority to match the otherwise appealing atmosphere. Overall, the property has charm and location on its side, but attention to detai

To start we booked this hotel as a last minute replacement for the hotel that we walked out of after being in for 20 minutes. And I will say what an improvement it was. We have seen this one on choice hotels for downtown Charleston and always planned on staying at some point in the future. Didn't realize it would come as fast at it did. For starters this property is right next to market st, so right in the area for shops, restaurants and tours; a huge plus. We get to park in the parking garage on the corner of church st with a parking pass provided by the hotel. Though the hotel didn't offer breakfast that didn't bother us. They did have free coffee in the morning and it was excellent. The rooms come with a kitchen and that helps on the travel expenses to be able to make food on site. F
