Christie Day Use Area Campground

Plenty of room for a fairly large (or several smaller) gathering. Picnic tables and an outhouse are available, and one bib supplies cold running water. Also lots of parking and easy lake access.

Christie is a good camp that is well-run. There is lots of shade, flush toilets and potable water. It's more spacious than nearby Merrill and Eagle campgrounds. The summer is mild and it's always comfortable in the shade. It is near a lake so the only drawback is that there are a lot of mosquitoes and flies. Eagle Lake shore fishing isn't very good during the summer.

This day use area was clean and quiet. With beautiful views of the lake. However, there is no Beach. There's plenty of grass and it's great for bird watching and picnicking and also makes a perfect fishing spot. Will definitely use this day area in the future.

Beautiful spot! Shame the water isn't swimmable.
