Baymont by Wyndham Susanville

Nice central location on the main road through town with plenty of shops and eateries in the immediate area. Nice, friendly hotel staff – a pleasure to deal with. The room was fairly average but clean and comfortable enough. The air conditioner made a lot of noise so couldn’t run it at night. The breakfast was very basic but was enough to get us going in the morning. Overall a decent stay and I’d recommend it to other travelers

Positive: The WIFI is amazing. Super fast and lots of bandwidth. I was getting 200mbps down and 150 up Negative: Breakfast was very lackluster. I did not eat breakfast at this hotel.

Im very picky when it comes to rooms. So when my wife finds a room with a good rate I'm skeptical. But this place was very very very nice inside. All remodeled with nice looking and comfortable bed, nice tv. We will definitely stay here again next time. Just wanted to add they have great coffee!! And good yogurt and selection of healthy stuff like apples and bananas 🍌.

For a cheap motel they have a great continental breakfast. The rooms were clearly recently remodeled and very nice but most importantly the staff there are just the nicest people. I slept in on my last day and missed the breakfast window by a few mins and the owner personally let me in when she did not have to. Would stay here again every time.

This place was just what I needed - not fancy, but clean, updated, quiet and - most importantly for me - pet-friendly. Easy-to-clean laminate floors are perfect for animal visitors. Not a lot of great places for a dog to potty - we were stuck with the street behind the hotel, where strips of grass and dirt had a lot of broken glass (come on, Susanville!) - but we made it work. I will definitely be staying there again, and a friend is there right now on my recommendation.
