Chassahowitzka River Lodge

Super proximate to the Chas River! Easy access to the Gulf for some great fishing or swimming! The nearby springs is a nice place to relax! Cabins are all redone and very clean! The bar is super nice, drinks are dirt cheap and a fun way to unwind after a long day on the river! The staff was super helpful and everyone was eager to chat! Prices for camping and the cabins were very affordable. Will definitely be returning

MUST READ!!!!!!!!!!!!! HEALTH RISK!!!! I NEVER write bad reviews but feel that I need to make people aware of my last visit. So for the sake of future visitors here it goes. Check in was fine, the stay was fine. However, a day after we left I broke out in a rash. It was so bad that I went to the doctors. The doctor asked me if I had slept anywhere new (hotel, bus, camper, etc.). I was informed that I had contracted scabbies. I called the lodge to inform them that they desperately need a deep clean, as I contracted scabbies at their establishment. The women on the phone didn't sound alarmed or surprised, she didnt offer a refund or an apology. There was a long silence on her end that lead me to believe she wasnt surprised. If she has assured me they would urgently replace all of the mattres

Visit by the river for a bucket of beer and watch the boaters. No-see-ems at times so go prepared. Friendly locals there. Not high class, just old south. Restaurant on site also out front. Great burgers, fries, happy hour 2-6 daily call for hours. Non smoking in bar with outside seating

Sam the manager was excellent with every need that I asked for, she excelled above and beyond a normal manager in this atmosphere, I highly recommend the Lodge

we always have a great time when we stay here in one of their cozy cabins and just love the locals:)
