Charleston Compound

My stay was eh. Especially for the price. The upstairs section with the 4 twin beds is incredibly hot. Even in fall. I can't imagine what it's like in the middle of summer. The beds were comfortable, but the heat made it unbearable and I ended up sleeping on the couch. Another reviewer mentioned holes in the towels and was told by the property manager/owner that it was not true. Well, it's true. I took pictures to back up the other reviewer. The quickness of the property manager/owner to say that the other reviewer was lying is what made me pay close attention during our stay since I read all the reviews before. Pillow cases also had holes and we found stains on the mattresses. This place is LOUD at night. I understand it's an old house and it's a college town, but I was not prepared for t

We rented the entire compound for a family and friends gathering and it could not have gone better. The location is great for local restaurants. The apartments are well appointed and the bathrooms were clean and stocked. The owner kept in communication and made sure we had everything we needed. Plus there is parking! Would stay again when in Charleston.

We have loved our stay here! We booked through air b&b. The Penthouse suite was clean, and smelled fresh. I appreciated the stocked kitchenette, and the bathroom toiletries. (You always forget something!) The fresh flowers upon arrival were a nice touch. We would stay again!

The Charleston Compound could not have been more perfect for our alumni golf weekend. Everything was exactly as described (and better) and allowed us to really just enjoy our time together and not worry about housing at all. I will be recommending this property to every single person I know that goes through Charleston moving forward!

A nice play to stay. Clean, and close to everything. If you want to cook, you'll find everything you need. If you want to eat outside, some nice places are 5 minutes away. We spent 4 wonderful days with our 3 children. Enjoy.
