Chanhassen Dinner Theatres

This was my first time at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre and I hope it’s not my last. Me and Mrs. Shamu dressed up nice to go and see White Christmas. The play was great and the service and atmosphere were even better. Mrs. Shamu ordered the steak and she kindly let me have some. It was delicious. I ordered some sort of bowl that had wild rice, kimchi, beets, mushrooms, and other goodness along with some added on chicken. The photo that is included DOES NOT do that bowl justice because it was beyond delicious. I want some more right now. However, it’s worth noting that the “avacado” is just a small spoonful of guacamole. In a perfect world/theatre, there’d be five or so avacado slices in there instead. Still, it tasted delicious and the complimentary bread and salad more than made up for it

This was my first time at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater and I was not disappointed. My Wife and I went there for dinner and a show. Everything was well planned and it all went fantastic. We got there a little early and had a couple of cottails, then dinner and then a concert. All the staff was super friendly and was there to help with anything we needed.

We saw the Queen tribute concert at the Fireside Theater. This place is a nice intimate venue. Because of its size, I think any seat will be good because you won't be that far from the stage. I happened to get front row seats which I thought might be too loud but it wasn't. We had dinner downstairs before the show. My Mom has limited mobility and couldn't do the stairs so meandered through a maze of hallways to get to a really cozy, low ceiling place. It felt quite vintage down there, but not too claustrophobic. Dinner choices were good-- we had steaks and veggies. Mu mom chose.the fish. There were other choices thay came with the ticket plus some appetizers that you pay for extra. I also ordered the sangria which came with their signature hurricane glass that I could take home. We watch Guys & Dolls, and it was so amazing! Food was delicious and very filling. Staff was super nice

I attended the Christmas themed Drag Brunch with friends and we had a wonderful time! The food and service were good, but the entertainment experience was SO much fun... the Queens were amazing. It was good, clean fun with a hint of innuendo at times. If you're on the fence about going, take the leap. You won't regret it :)
