Chalet Inn - A Boutique Hotel

Worst hotel experience of my life. We made multiple phone calls and sent texts notifying the hotel of our late arrival; all were ignored, and we had no idea if we would have a room waiting for us when we arrived at 11:30 pm. Upon arrival, we found the door locked with no notice. We eventually aroused someone who told us "Verizon problems" precluded her responding to our numerous queries. The room was pretty much Motel 6 quality, and we couldn't see anything "boutique" about it. ||We didn't have coffee in the room the next morning, and I went to the front dest at 9 am, only to discover the office locked. I was told I should have called first ("This IS the 21st century!"). ||The hotel manager was rude, unpleasant, and clearly annoyed that I had interrupted her housekeeping. Something

We loved this cozy little place. The minute we drove up, we were impressed with how inviting the property is. Every detail from the copious flower plantings throughout to the unique furnishings seemed to be very thoughtful yet effortless. We stayed in the large room with multiple beds and everyone had plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable too! Reasonably priced for the area. Such a breath of fresh air in contrast to chain hotels. Wish we had more time to stay!

Im not sure where to start. Its not terrible, but its not great for the price we paid. $800 for 2 nights and we spent money in the Pizzeria. Driving up to the Inn, it looks very nice and renovated. Got into the room and was a little disappointed. Peel and stick tiles for the bathroom floor, flies coming out of the drains, and the shower heads spray water floor to ceiling. The owners way of fixing the shower head was placing a towel over it. Didn't offer a discount rate on the room, instead moved us a room over where the shower head was the exact same. We already had a bad day at Glacier that day, and we didnt feel like there was any effort to make us feel welcome. Check in was a text after we called serveral times, and the codes are so unsafe. I had a fantastic stay at this motel in Whitefish! The room was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of the best surprises was discovering that the best pizza in town is right on the motel property—absolutely delicious! The location is also perfect—just a short drive to downtown, which made exploring Whitefish so easy and enjoyable. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. It’s a real gem!

Oh, this place was an absolute gem! I definitely recommend staying here. As soon as we opened the door to the room, you could CLEARLY see the quality we paid for. The decor was cute & great quality materials & such used throughout the room. The cleaning people came in and surprised the kid(s) by including their blankets & stuffed animals in the "freshly made beds" look, which made the coming back to the room more exciting for them. The view from the window was absolutely perfect. Even though there was a campground next to us, it was so quiet outside day or night when we would be outside. We will definitely be coming back here whenever we need a place to stay out here again!
