Cavallo Point Lodge

This was my first time to the West Coast as an East Coast native, and Cavallo Point was the perfect way to kick off our trip! It is the ideal distance from the city and the views of the bridge / downtown from the property were beautiful. It was such a comfortable stay - from staff moving our bags to our rooms while we were out exploring during the day to falling into the morning routine of enjoying pastries and coffee on the porch of the historic buildings and watching the fog clear over the bay. Having been jet lagged from our travels, we ate at the property's restaurant quite a few times and the food was amazing each time. The pomegranate chicken salad was the perfect post-flight lunch, and we had a fantastic 'girl dinner' of appetizers and cocktails (our waiter was amazing as well!) We

We had a great stay here! The contemporary room with a view of the bridge was stunning and worth the premium over the historic room. Good water pressure. Sound insulation seemed good but we went on a weeknight when it was less crowded. Biggest complaint is that the pillows were thin and not comfortable. Great service, including Mara and Isaac at the front. We loved the Fort Baler history tour with Brit - so interesting, he was a fount of knowledge! The Lexus rental is a fun perk, and they cover bridge tolls too. We thought both restaurants were good.

Such a fantastic stay at Cavallo Point. The room was clean, and the care given to us during our visit was thoughtful and well-considered. The property is beautiful to drive around, and our room overlooked the Golden Gate Bridge, which made our stay even more special. It was a bit of a drive from the parking lot to our building, but you can request the front desk to send a car to drop you off. We had just returned to the Bay Area from a long drive, so we decided to order room service for dinner. I didn’t find the chicken sandwich to be particularly impressive, but the salmon was good, along with the dessert. I highly recommend this lodging and would love to stay here again while in Sausalito.

We treated ourselves to a weekend staycation at Cavallo Point after the holidays, and it was exquisite on every level. Every interaction felt thoughtful and deeply personal. A heartfelt thank you to Loyn at the front desk for patiently walking us through the options and guiding us to the perfect junior suite with a bridge view, to Maryann in concierge, and to Lisa at the front desk, who went above and beyond to seamlessly salvage our spa plans after we missed a booking detail. Valets Roly and Aidan elevated the experience further with a courtesy Lexus, and Nestor at brunch anticipated our needs with such ease and care.
