Wonderful campground! I really enjoyed the shelter on site 24. Using a 6x8 tarp, I covered the screened opening and heated the inside nicely. The stargazing was great, as was the campground location. The campground was very well maintained. Sites and bathrooms are clean, plowed, and accessible even with many feet of snow on the ground. I encourage you to visit Catchin Crickets! Don’t wait for spring; winter is an incredibly beautiful time to visit for an epic winter camping experience, with plenty to see and do!

We stayed here for a snowmobile trip. Very nice cabin, would definitely recommend. Built in 2016 everything newer & nicely decorated. Washer & dryer. Trail system accessible close by. Three bedroom two bath.

Authenticity? This place has it! Hope for humanity? Yeah, they've got that too. As someone who grew up camping and allowed life to steal away my time to do it this campgroud was probably the best place to start camping with my family again. Now an adult everything was very stressful. With five teenagers I had a lot on my hands. This campground saved the day! The owners are pleasent and personable. The campsites have so many differnt styles to choose from. There's a lovely trail behind it and an apple orchard that if the time is right you might be able to get a box of free apples for your pies or your deer. The attitudes of the other campers were very helpful to our issues and they were so family friendly with us!! My brother's friends even slept in their hammock a bit away from us and noth

The price seemed a little steep given Munising Tourist Park right on the water was the same price per night with more amenities, spacious sites, and hookups. HOWEVER - the owners of this park are kind, helpful, and excited to keep improving. They were generous to us - offering us a hookup site when it came available and meeting us at check in to get set up with water for our fifth wheel tank. They kept the vault toilet cleaner than any I’ve ever seen. There wasn’t much to do for the kids but we kept busy enjoying the area each day. If we had stayed around maybe they would’ve ventured into the woods some. Overall, I’d recommend a stay here. Very quiet and peaceful. Closest convenience store was very pricey so anything we needed required a trek into Munising but no matter!

This campground is amazingly clean, quiet, and well cared for, and the owners, Mark and Kristina, could not have been more accommodating. The driver of our RV had a medical emergency, and Mark went above and beyond in helping us with all our needs that day while we made arrangements to get back home. They are wonderful people, and I would recommend it to anyone! Kristina responds very quickly to either voice mail or email. Be sure to ask Mark and Kristina where to get the best pasty ever too! Definitely a five-star campground.
