I have stayed here a few times over the last 15 years, and it always feels like coming home. Pia is attentive and lovely, and she is so helpful with large groups. The rooms are very, very large for the price and extremely cozy. The pool is great, and the hotel is basically on the mountain. Its not as bougie as some of the more expensive hotels but thats also what makes it awesome. Great for groups, and they break down pricing per person so its quite reasonable for solo stays. Highly recommend for a low key mountain adventure.
Stayed here this week for some skiing and frankly I think this one of the best / underrated hotels on Killington access road. For the price and amenities it is superb. All of the amenities were working, the water was clean, the room was spotless. And furthermore you are walking distance to the lifts (although there are local shuttles with stops on the hotel entrance street too). The staff was so accommodating and friendly too. They have a small bar for apres hours although there is the Killington distillery next door which also has superb food and drinks. Definitely will be coming back here as this is now my hotel of choice for Killington :)
Owner/manager tries but is clueless. No restaurant. Granola bars and juice doesn't cut it for a continental breakfast for skiers. The place is very dated. Old TVs in rooms. Maintenance issues while we were there included brown water and no hot water at times.|Bartender was great. Lots of fun . Hot tub is tiny. Shared microwave for the entire hotel. Fire place is just flickering lights . Not at all what is pictured on the website .Expensive for what it is. Room was clean.
Great stay for skiing! I was concerned about some of the earlier reviews, but we found: great location (8-9 min walk to slopes, or very frequent shuttle); clean rooms; good showers; living room with giant TV, water dispenser, microwave; indoor pool and hot tub; two restaurants across the street. The front desk manager Piya was extremely attentive and helpful. Downsides? Beds are a little hard, but still comfortable. Very nice, convenient base for a ski trip.
Caution if you have sensitive skin don't use the hot tub. If ur spouse comes few hrs after u and u let them know in advance so they can buzz him in they will give him a hard time still. There's no, do not disturb signs to hang on ur door so u get bothered by house keeping at all hrs. The water in the bathroom looks fine till u fill the tub and its so brown. Its to hot in the rooms as well and the control is on the vent and doesn't seem to work. Rooms r out dated no updates since the 80's but in a bad way.
