Carpenter Camp

Nice campground. IT has a aluminum picnic table and a fire pit with steel ring with a cooking grill attached.

Keep walking to panther, the 2.5 miles more is well worth it.

This a great place to spend the night. It's spartan--no water or utilities. There is a fire pit, and a table. Other than that, all you'll have is your tent. Perfect for camping.

This camp is the close to I-75 and in my opinion it is much easier to get to. Of course this is primitive camping so remember to bring plenty of water with you or something to filter and sanitize if you are going to go that route. It was very clean when I visited it and hopefully everyone keeps it that way. There's a table along with a fire ring for the evenings. I'm looking forward to camping here!

Great place to camp with about an hour to hour and a half hike to get there. 2 firepits, almost always no one there. It's just one campsite. Floods with heavy rain but just like a foot or so. We've seen deer and raccoons but that's about it for wildlife. Beautiful stars and you can't see the highway. No bathrooms or showers. Sign in sheet at the beginning of the trail.
