Carolina Dunes

The condo, unit 105, was extremely nice and very clean. Everything is up to date so no hotel feeling, almost a home feeling. It comes with all the amenities you could ask for. Sleeps about 6-8. 6, comfortably. I gave room service a 1 because we didn't have it there. Also, you have to strip all beds down and place bedding at the washer/dryer before departure. We have never had to do that before anywhere else. Not a deal breaker though. There is no front office to check in. Everything is done electronically which is a plus. The only complaint that I can think of is that the pools could have been cleaner. The view was amazing. Very quiet here as they have stringent rules for after 10pm ruckus'. This is a terrible resort. The management staff is not helpful at all. The bed is broken. There are bugs in the room. I would rather sleep on the beach than to stay in this room and sleep on the air mattress they gave us with the bugs in floor!

7 of us stayed at Carolina Dunes to celebrate a friend’s 60 birthday. Our stay here complimented how we hoped our celebration would go, and did! We were very happy and it felt like home.

Great place to stay. Right on the ocean . Clean and quiet. In very nice and safe part of Myrtle Beach. Managed by The Caravelle Resort. Clean beach and great view from condo. Staff was great and friendly I would go again for sure. Some good restaurants near by

When we arrived Thursday, room met our expectations. We booked this room specifically for the balcony and view. We went to breakfast Friday and received a text saying they were closing the balconies indefinitely. Came back to our room to find that one door was screwed shut and the sliding doors had a pad lock around them. Communication after that was basically “not their fault”, can give 20% off days “inconvenienced” or we could stay another night 30% off (yeah for an advertised oceanfront room without an oceanfront experience). Several guests that were also staying there were furious. The rental agency didn’t even inform people checking in after Friday of the “balcony closure order”. One couple drove from Michigan only to find out after arriving. There should have been refunds issued for
