Captain's Quarters Resort

I stayed here in July2025 with my 5 kids in a 2 bedroom suite had no issues they had a blast they even made friends over the days of us being there. They had everything I needed to cook inside the room, Walmart is nearby so we were able to get last minute items for the kids. Lord to do within walking distance. Parking was a bit of a hassle but not a big deal.

There is a lot of construction but it didn’t not mess with our vacation. Was scared because I’m use to hiltons and Marriott’s but it was actually ok . The room we weee in 604 was outdated and rough around the edges but it was clean . The air was so cool we never had an issue with that lol . If you like comforters they don’t have them on the bed they have sheets that’s it . They do have mattress covers on all beds so that was nice . It’s just outdated ! They are remodeling and my daughter stayed in a semi updated one and it was nice . The price was great , staff were great . Pool was very clean and refreshing . Loved the kids side and adult side . Adventure land is right down the street so great for kids . The entrance to the beach was clean and easy to get to . Towel service was great . My

How do I even start... we got there and we was put on the 6th floor, where all the renovations was. Which really isn't a big deal. Unless you want to hear maintenance all night. When we got there, the keys never worked had to go down 4 times for new keys. The shower was horrible, the curtains barely worked and closed. Our phone didn't work the entire time we was there after repeatedly telling them. Theres no house keeping unless u call, but the phone didnt work so I had to go down every single time for anything I needed. The pool was over flowing, the heater in the pool wasn't working. Theres no security doing there jobs because every door in the pool area was left open, for stray cats and opossum to get in, which we seen. The arcade was left unattended at all times. My family & I had a great time at this family friendly resort. Our room was very clean and a perfect size for our family of 4. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite with a beautiful angle ocean view. Phyllis our bartender at the Tipsy Turtle pool bar was very friendly and kind. She made awesome drinks - when we return we hope to see her again. Also, the manager Spencer was very accommodating to our concerns and needs.

We were just recently there for our 2 year wedding anniversary and it started out great but as the time went on it got worse we had people smoking pot on the balcony below us which made it hard to enjoy the ocean because we had to keep the balcony door closed. The next day the cops were next door at the Polynesian making my wife and myself feel unsafe because we didn't know what was going on and the security was terrible the only security guards that were good were the two white women I don't know their names but all the other security guards were just worried about phone chargers or sitting down being on their phone. The very same day somebody pulled the fire alarm on the 9th floor ruining the peace and quiet nobody was working the arcade and on top of that the room phone didn't work. The
