Canterbury Chateau Bed & Breakfast

Lovely place hosted by an angel. So far we have started in three of the rooms in three different seasons! There was a different, delicious breakfast each day (you would be surprised by how many B&B's serve the same thing every day). Creative, tasty, plenty. We'll go back in the summer.

We stayed two nights and were very happy with our choice. Jan and Bob were very nice and very accommodating. Their home is beautiful and all the rooms are delightful. You would be happy with any room choice as they are all beautiful with private bathrooms. We had the Turret Room. The bed was so comfy that we didn't want to get out of bed for breakfast. But it was so worth it! Jan is a wonderful cook and the breakfast both days was amazing and very filling. She also offers treats and dessert in the evening which was a very nice touch. Thank you Jan and Bob. We will be back next time we come to Howell.

I will never stay at a hotel again. All of my stays will now be at this wonderful b&b. My room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, quiet, cozy, and my own private bathroom. This b&b is first class all the way. Jan our hostess was the most detailed, organized person I've ever met. Our breakfast was over the top. I never expected such a fantastic breakfast one that you would never get at a hotel. There was such an assortment and something for everyone.....Jan made sure we were well fed when we went out for the day. Then a yummy treat was there for us when we came back from our busy day. The bonus of our stay was Jan .... I feel like I have found a new friend and hope to keep in contact with her. Please give this b&b a call - you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much Jan.

I recently stayed there and was completely overwhelmed and satisfied with the experience. This being my first stay at a B&B, I was not sure what to expect. We asked for the optional tea upon checking in and was pleased with the total experience. The meals were sensational, and the service fantastic. Jan was a great hostess and made sure we had everything we wanted, without being intrusive. The house and the decor are beautiful. I would go back in a minute and highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Jan was just a perfect host and this B&B was amazingly clean, comfortable, quiet, with country decor and charm. Her cooking was delicious and plentiful! I have nothing but good things to say and I would recommend her to anyone. I would absolutely go back. The B&B was easy to find with good signage, parking right outside, easy to come and go during the stay, and Jan was very attentive to all our needs. The amenities and facilities were all top notch.
