Candlewood Suites Sayre by IHG

I recently stayed here for my best friend’s wedding, and the experience was exceptional! Rohan, the General Manager, went above and beyond to assist with the room block, as well as all of our special requests. His professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication made the entire weekend celebration seamless and stress-free. The hotel team was equally amazing - friendly, helpful, and always ready to support. Their hospitality, resourcefulness, and positive energy truly enhanced our stay. We highly recommend staying here if you're ever in town!

It really saddens me to leave this hotel a 1 star because it was an absolute beautiful room with way more in the room than I thought. It came with a fridge, dishwasher, pots/pans and a little hotplate for two. Beautiful beds and very comfortable and the location is great. The reason behind the one star is how we were treated by the staff completely ruined how beautiful the experience was. Not only when you call the hotel no one ever answers but we called ahead, the day before, to make sure we could check in early (1pm) since we were driving 7 hours for my sister's wedding I wanted to make sure we could get in and change and we were told "no problem" when I finally got a hold of someone. Very friendly and accommodating. We wanted a separate bedroom and they were able to get us the room. Bed was comfy and clean. We had loud people above us, not the hotels fault though. Great price. Lots of retailers around.

I reserved an accessible room with roll in shower for one night. Check in went smoothly. I received a gift for being an IHG rewards member. The room had a full size refrigerator, two burners to cook on, dishwasher, and a microwave that was located down low which was perfect for my husband who is in a wheelchair. The room was big enough to maneuver the wheelchair. The TV was on the smaller size and located in the corner of the room a ways away from the bed. There were no plugs with USB or USB-C plugs and only one plug on a lamp next to one side of the bed. The biggest issue I had with the room was the roll in shower. The shower chair was affixed to the wall on the opposite side of the shower head. The shower head did detach but it was an issue that it had to be held the whole time my husban

I called at 4:00 to check on our room because I received an email saying our reservation was cancelled. Had to call several times before someone answered. Was told to call back because they were sold out and the rooms weren’t ready because they don’t have enough help. We Showed up at 5:30 and was given room keys. This is my first IHG experience where I wasn’t thanked for being a rewards member. This woman was so unprofessional, pathetic. Went to the room and it was a 1 queen room when I reserved and paid for a 2 queen room when I booked on my IHG app. Went back to the lobby and was told “that’s what they gave me” and I couldn’t get a different room because they were sold out.
