Best Western Grand Victorian Inn

Wonderful weekend getaway with family. Jen greeted us upon arrival and provided us with great adjoining rooms for our party. It was pet friendly for our service dog. Dave in the restaurant was our bartender and cook. The food was fantastic. Deluxe Burgers, fish fry and wings (garlic parm) mmm. Couldn't go wrong. He was very entertaining. The pool was great. All in all was a great getaway weekend for our families. In the morning a warm continental breakfast too. Just a few mile over in Troy, PA did some awesome shopping.

I had high expectations based on the reviews, but the room condition was lacking. There was a persistent, foul odor (like sweaty feet) in the room, likely due to the aging carpets. They really need a deep steam clean. Also, the bathroom fan was out of order, making the room feel stuffy. The breakfast was actually wonderful and the highlight of the stay, though the fruit quality could be improved as it didn't taste fresh. Overall, a bit of a mixed experience due to the room's hygiene and maintenance issues.

12.13.25 GVAG ladies Christmas party was held at the Grand Victorian Best Western in Sayre Pa. Tracy was a dream to work with. The room was decorated exactly as we discussed, even with some added touches, that made the room so beautiful. Deb and the other servers made the evening flawless. The food was delicious, and served right on time. The Grand Victorian provided the perfect setting for our ladies to celebrate, and enjoy a very special evening. I would highly recommend using them for any future functions. I hope we will be back.

This Best Western Grand Victorian Inn is our favorite. It offers a great breakfast, has an upscale vibe, it's clean, quiet, and in a convenient location. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Check in and check out was a breeze. The grandsons loved the pool. It offers many amenities. We have stayed there many times and will stay again in our travels. It also offers discounts and the price was more than fair. It also has an onsite bar/lounge that offers food, very convenient. I absolutely highly recommend this hotel!

Positive: It was close to my destination and event Negative: The trim heat did not work. The room smelled like sewer. The bathtub had a layer of some sort of powder in the bottom. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work. The ceiling in the shower with dipping down and you can see where mold was just painted over.
