Candlewood Suites Oak Harbor by IHG

Immaculately clean. Staff were sweet. It was cozy, bed was comfy, curtains blocked out light, we slept well. We stayed in a recently renovated room and everything was brand spanking new. Highly recommend!

This is a great hotel, I kinda wish it had a little more "island charm" but we really enjoyed it. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and food was pretty good. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in Oak Harbor.

We have stayed at literally 100s of ihg hotels over the past decades and are long time platinum members but I must say this is by far the worst ihg hotel we’ve ever encountered mostly because of the rude hostile staff we encountered. We had a last minute business trip in the area so decided to stay at this hotel in Oak Harbor because it was an Ihg hotel and when checking in the new clerk had some difficulty checking us in and spent 15 minutes or so trying to do so. Then a man came from some place down the hall into the front desk area and his badge read JoJo. He was extremely nasty and rude to us right from the start and I have no idea why as we were just trying to check in. He acted like he was a manager although I’m not sure if he was but he did take over completely from the clerk who wa

The room was immaculately clean, and everything looked nice and new. The staff was helpful, the bed was comfortable. I will definitely recommend this to anyone visiting oak harbor.

Over the years this hotel has become me and my colleagues home away from home, the front desk staff has always been helpful and friendly. They always stepped up when we have needed anything without hesitation. I have worked with a lot of hotels but this front desk staff takes the cake in customer service! I would like to give a huge shoutout to Daniel, Kalilah, Jaylanna, Crystal, Kincaid and Joelle. Thank you guys for making us feel welcome from the moment we enter to when we depart. I would also like to give a big thanks to the housekeeping staff as well. They keep those rooms spotless and make sure we have everything we need to make our stay pleasant so thank you to Elvria and her wonderful team.
