Auld Holland Inn - Whidbey Island Hotel

The room wasnt cleaned very well, if at all before given to us. There was someones hair made into the bed and in little wads all over the shower wall. A lot was broken in the room too. The fire place and separate heater didnt work. The heat in the bathroom worked but the fan wouldnt turn off and the bottom of the tub filled with water pretty quickly and drained slow. Carpets are beyond nasty. The TV almost didnt work but we jimmied the cable and it finally did. Aside from that we really enjoyed our stay! It was cheap and convenient. Over priced bc it was Valentines day but cute and quirky nonetheless. The positive reviews on here are only to boost the star rating. More people are displeased with their stay then pleased with it.

Super cozy and lovely inn! Our room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's an older inn but it's charming and we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay again when we are back in Oak Harbor.

Other reviews about this motel worried me but our room was excellent. Yes, there was carpeting but it was clean, as was the entire room. The bed was comfortable, the newer windows kept road noise to a minimum, and the staff were professional and pleasant. As someone who suffers from mold allergies I can state with confidence that our second-floor room had no mold when we stayed there.

The staff is friendly and helpful. While it’s an older budget hotel our room appeared to be freshly painted and was clean and comfortable with plenty of bath supplies. All the small appliance’s were in good working order. The continental breakfast was one of the better options I’ve experienced. Would definitely stay there again.

Positive: This hotel was very charming Negative: The room was so outdated. The couch was tipping backwards and so we chose not to sit on it. The bed was squeaky, so made a noise every time we moved. The carpet, wallpaper and tile in the bathroom all need an update.
