Canal Park Lodge

If you have young kids and get up early this may be the place for you. There is a nice pool and hot tub. It’s also in a great location, a very walkable area. Beautiful path along the lake and a little beach behind the hotel. Our room had a fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker. If you don’t wake up really early I wouldn’t stay here. Hockey kids loudly running down the halls after 7am. Pounding from above. Doors constantly slamming, startling you awake. Loud talking in the hallways. I’m giving 3 stars because of the location and the kind staff. I appreciate that they were understanding and offered a small discount. The parents of these children weren’t considerate of the other guests at all. Unfortunately the discount wasn’t enough to make up for ruined sleep and the crummy experience. I p

The hotel check in was very smooth . It was a sold out weekend. The rooms are beautiful well maintained.they coffee in the lobby which was excellent our group loves coffee. The view is beautiful we were on the second floor with a beautiful view of the bay. There is a great walking distance around the bay. We had a nice view of the bridge. We utilized the pool and hot tub very adequate for families. The breakfast bar was well maintained and very good. The eggs bacon and sausage were handled by the staff which they handled very well. The staff and food was excellent.had a pancake maker which our group enjoyed. I can’t say enough about the cleanliness of the food area. It is a truly a wonderful place to stay.

We enjoyed a fabulous weekend at the hotel. Our room was great, nice size and clean. We enjoyed having a fridge and microwave. The breakfast provided more than met our expectations providing hot foods, bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes and a variety of breads, muffins and danishes. The location is great, walkable to all the canal park attractions and dining. Free parking is provided, and the last night we enjoyed sitting out by the gas fire pit watching the water and visiting with other guests. Overall a great weekend, and we would stay here again.

Good location and easy parking. Clean room. Breakfast was okay but free. Coffee was good. Would stay here again.

Staff and location was great! Will be going back. They were very helpful and friendly. Location great, close to so much and yet very private feeling. Pool warm and clean,great breakfast with friendly/helpful staff! How helpful you ask? Was walking back from eating at the Harbor 360(recommend by the way) and as we were walking over the freeway and down to the pier where I was to propose to my future fiancé, driving by in a red car while I was wearing my brand new first time out $65 white hoodie I was egged! Anyways the staff stain sprayed and helped me get it clean,thanks again!
