Good campground, staff wonderful. Lights all around for evening walking

This campground is very easy to get in and out of from I-10. Our spot was easy to to pull into and out of, but was not level, had a huge sunken portion of the pad, it didn't affect us, just letting future RV'ers know. There is a shower house and restrooms, but they are closed 7pm-7am. A 14 dollar Uber to the casino in Gulfport, i recommend this park.

Our month long get away from the FROZEN North was a success because of this campground. It is very clean and the other guest are very nice and respectful. Yes it is very accessible from highway 10 and all point inward. The sites are all full hook-ups and leveled. The electric is strong and steady, 50amp and down. City water and excellent water pressure, oh let me tell you about the WATER! THE CITY WATER IS SO SOFT YOU'LL NEVER NEED LOTION! There’s 5 washers and 5 dryers each under 2.00 to run. Each morning inside the office there’s free donuts and coffee...... AND HERES THE BEST PART..... you’re 3 and a half miles from the beach 🏖. You are less than a mile from restaurants, movies and shopping. So our trip ends and we are forced back north..... but thank you Gulfport and Campgroun

ONLY good thing about CG of the South is price, but we would pay twice as much for a clean park. Office NEVER open so as a short term visitor you cannot get your mail or packages. Dirty laundry room. NO other amenities. I 10 only about 150 ft away and WILL keep you up all night

Clean campground, concrete slabs and safe location. If you are in Gulfport and worry about where to go, this is a good place. I was able to keep my stuff out and nothing happened to it. The lots are relatively inexpensive. Management is great and keeps an eye on the place well. The owner will drive around making sure everything is good. Power has never been an issue. Mine and my husband’s parents live near here so we will be coming back to this park for future visits.
