Campground Fort Buford

Amazing view of the sunset as you can tell, surprisingly not very busy (I did visit on a Monday however) as there were only 2 other campers here. The reason I did take 1 star away is we showed up late (8 P.M.) and the main building was closed so we just grabbed a tag from the payed site and filled that out but there was nothing else we could see to register as the sign said to register at the main building (could not find a registration slip). But other than that a great experience here.

Nice place for an overnight stop. We were here alone, no one else so it was nice and quiet. Plenty of bugs, bring bug spray. DO NOT take the dirt road toward thestraight. Like Google Maps shows, keep going straight, the sign is a bit hard to see until you get to it, the sign is at an angle so if you don't know what to look for stay striaght.

Great overnight stay. Bugs were not bad and when the wind came up...no buds.

Nice place in winter too.

Quiet and shady.
