Camelback Resort

I have been skiing Camelback for 35 years. Back then…pre “Quad” lift days …we would drive up, unload our gear at the base lodge and stash our gear in the lockers….and ski! First time staying in this resort…happened to be a holiday weekend. Definitely convenient….ski in and out. A bit of a zoo. Resort was overwhelmed. Staff did their best. A bit overpriced but you’re paying for convenience. There is a buffet, a pizza place, two coffee shops and a bar that serves food as well…you will need to make reservations. Ate the in-house pizza…eh and waited for 30 minutes for coffee at the lobby coffee shop $$$! The waterpark is a nice perk…it’s little cold inside. Loved the hot tub. All in all not sure if I would stay there again for the price. But you can’t replace the convenience.

Positive: The housekeepers and security were super friendly and helpful Negative: Reception doesn?t pick up the phone, never and I went downstairs and let them know I have been calling all day the receptionist just rolled her eyes and was like yea, what you need??, not a good experience

We had a wonderful stay at Camelback Resort. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of options — there was something for everyone. We really enjoyed the waterpark and the tubing — everything was well organized and fun for the whole family. The staff was friendly, and the experience was smooth from check-in to check-out. We are definitely looking forward to coming back, especially to enjoy the summer attractions!

We went during a snowstorm on MLK weekend. Traffic going into the resort was very backed up starting as early as 2pm. Once we got there Camille was an absolute star at the front desk! She got us checked in, explained everything thoroughly and answered all questions. She really is the star of this trip!!! Because if it wasn’t for her this review wouldn’t have gotten 5 stars. We rented the 3 bedroom condo, it is rather tight with 10 teenage boys but it did the job. The kitchen was stock with heavy pot, heavy pan, all utensils, knives, plates and cups. Advice bring your own paper towels, paper plates and cups unless you are going to constantly be doing dishes. I did bring my toaster oven (when feeding a crowd this came in handy to have plus the full size oven they have). |We bought snowtubing

We had such an amazing experience at Camelback Resort! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming, clean, and well organized. The atmosphere is perfect whether you're going with family, friends, or for a little getaway. The views are absolutely beautiful, especially in the winter. Pro tip: book a room with a balcony and request a mountain view it’s so worth it! Sitting out there watching people ski down the slopes is such a relaxing and fun experience. It really adds something special to your stay. There’s so much to do, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the whole place just has a great energy.
