Best Western Plus Poconos Hotel

I was just at another Best Western Plus in NY a couple of weeks ago, and this hotel is not on par with that location. Other BW Plus locations welcome me as a member with two bottles of water and a snack to choose. Other BW Plus locations also have a cappuccino maker. Neither were provided at this location.||I booked a room with a jetted tub and a fireplace. Neither were working and the sink was clogged. (I always check the amenities before settling in.) The woman at the front desk was very nice and gave me another room. Again, neither the jetted tub nor fireplace were working. ||When I asked the woman at the front desk to reduce my rate to the standard room rate (I paid a higher rate for two amenities that were not available), she advised that she wasn't able to do so, but to talk

i came here during a time of need and the lady at the front desk helped me. i had a nice warm room and a roof over my head for the night. wonderful hospitality. i will say this. NO bed bugs, NO roaches. it was a wonderful place to stay and had such a great price. don’t listen to the bad reviews i’m reading. they were amazing to work with and helped me figure out my finances. if i ever get stranded out here again you best bet i’ll be booking here ❤️

Positive: Proximity to highway was ideal. Negative: Dead roach on the bed. Hole in carpeting. Gross spatter stains on the wall behind bed. Sticky dried liquid on bathroom countertop. Breakfast wasn’t particularly good and very limited options.

I stayed here with my wife and kids and overall had a good experience. The room was clean and well maintained, and housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay. The front desk staff, especially Anny, was friendly, welcoming, and dressed professionally, which made check-in smooth and pleasant. One thing I did notice was a woman with purple hair in the kitchen area who later went outside to smoke marijuana. I saw her and could smell it afterward, which felt a bit inappropriate given the family-friendly environment. Aside from that, everything else went well and the hotel was comfortable for a family stay.

Last minute booking through the site, which offered a good price for a certain room. The receptionist solved an issue caused by a second-hand website and offered us a free of charge upgraded. Lovely room with jacuzzi!
