Cambria Hotel North Conway

We really loved our stay this week. The hotel was clean, quiet, and in a great location. Attentive staff Nancy and Ellen were an asset. Nancy gave us lots of suggestions on things to do and places to eat. They were friendly and organized at the desk. My boyfriend enjoyed the gym. This was a nice addition to the hotel. We would stay again on our next visit.

We spent two nights at Cambria North Conway and could not be more pleased! The service was wonderful and the rooms very nice, very clean and comfortable! We had breakfast both mornings and everything was delicious. Everyone was so professional and fun. The pool is lovely, and the workout room had lots of great equipment which we took advantage of. Loved the water-filling stations around the hotel as well! We were treated with kindness and friendlyness by every staff person. Theresa had us all in stiches with her humor and was so much fun and she treated us like kings and queens by providing a space for us to gather for breakfast (there were 8 of us) when the breakfast area was full! The staff went above and beyond in accommodating our rather large group with our individual room requests as well as our conference room event. Cannot say enough about every person that worked there! The place is immaculate! The restaurant was another plus…the breakfasts especially were outstanding! Would not hesitate to sta again.

This was a very disappointing hotel experience. I paid for a stay that included breakfast, but nowhere does it clearly state how limited and low quality the breakfast actually is. There are essentially only three options: two eggs, a waffle, or a pancake. The pancake was nearly an inch thick and almost inedible — I doubt even the person who made it would eat it. The rooms were not clean, and dogs are allowed in the hotel, which may be a serious issue for guests with allergies. For the price they are charging, there are many better options nearby that offer higher quality accommodations and service.

This is a nice updated property with great rooms and excellent location to many activities. However, the staff are not well trained and not service orientated. For example, the service is slow, they are unprofessional (often having their own conversations and making guests wait to be served) and have also had some odd encounters (the front desk associate, Nancy, seemed to be dismissive and unhelpful when we asked for simple amenities like shower caps and a bottle opener). At over $300 per night, we expected better service and amenities. Simple items like a proper microwave, a bottle opener and shower cap should be available for guests. I suspect that the property has these items for guests, however, the staff are just unhelpful and and provision of these are at their discretion.
