What a super fun, quiet, special place! I brought my friend here for her birthday and Quentin (their front desk guru) set up a birthday bottle of champagne on ice in the room while we were at our spa appointments. Our facials and soaks were incredible. Their pools are perfect. We ate dinner in their onsite restaurant and everything was delicious. Service was awesome. An incredible deal if you look at the prices of other places in Calistoga!
A hidden gem! Hot mineral swimming pools, a hot tub sheltered from the sun and the wind, and huge rooms (I was in the newer section of the property). I have a lovely time attending a retreat with my group. Everyone at the hotel was welcoming. It is a very short nice walk into "downtown" Calistoga. I will be back!
Positive: We booked our hotel room for 2 nights but we left early. All of us couldn?t sleep all night . Smells like something very bad. They mentioned they have hot spring water but the don?t . The mention they have spa it?s closed. Nothing activates. Negative: I don?t recommend this hotel afterwards
This review is for the spa experience only! My husband and I came here for two spa treatments each, costing almost $1k. Everyone who works at the spa is amazing. Can't say enough wonderful things about them. Marie gave an amazing massage. Robert did as well. Lacy made my face sparkling, and Dani at the front desk was just lovely. Note that this is the first facial I've ever received without extractions. I was not in the mood for pain so it worked for me. However, the facilities are hugely lacking. I wish someone had mentioned that the steam room was out of order. It was the only thing to do aside from a treatment and it was closed for repairs. There's no sauna, no attached jacuzzi and no food or drink service. We were there for more than 4 hours and we starving by the time we left. Th
Stayed one night. The pools were a big disappointment. Crowded and COLD. Not mineral water. That was the whole reason we came here. There are 3 pools and one hot tub, but two of the pools were too cold to swim in, so then the entire hotel and their young children are in one small, very shallow pool, and the hot tub. The hotel advertises these as “mineral pools” but you can only smell chlorine. There were like 20 young kids in the pools and hot tub, and we couldn’t even swim in the adult only pool because it was FREEZING— completely empty of people. There was no other option but to sit in a crowded lukewarm shallow pool while being splashed and bumped by children. Looking back, it’s actually funny how bad it was. The bed was hard and there were no pool robes in our room 🥲 by the time we g
