Cactus Country RV Resort

This is our second visit to Cactus Country RV. The people here are very nice and accommodating. We had repairs done on our truck and we're unsure how long it would take to fix, the resort reserved whatever time we needed with no problems. The sites are spacious and full hook ups with cable. They have a pool and hot tub, which we use everyday after hiking. It's only 16 miles from downtown and 15 minutes to Saguaro National Park. Plenty of trails around the resort and close to the bike path that goes into Tuscon.

Great RV resort! Small park, has some full time residents as well as short term RV camping and a few tent sites. Bathrooms are very clean, heated on cold days, and free to use. Shower has attached individual stall, so no communal dressing area. Everything is freshly painted and well maintained. Pool is small but lovely, clean, and has sunny as well as shady spots. They sell propane too. Park is surrounded by open space, great views of the mountains. Full of Anna's hummingbirds and other local specialties. Great landscaping, small cactus gardens. Lots of dog poop bag stations. Everyone on the staff was extremely helpful. Would absolutely recommend this place! Looking forward to returning.

Bah humbug it’s so disappointing at Christmas time at Cactus Country cause we don’t celebrate Christmas here. There’s no decorations anywhere outside of the individual except for the individual houses like ourselves. We put some Christmas bulbs out on a tree not part of the Cactus Country property and Everest. I just drove by and they’re all gone. What are we the antichrist here you going to other parks Voyager other places and it’s absolutely beautiful. Everything‘s decorated the entrance the gates it’s so pretty. It’s Christmas not our park. I think we have the antichrist running this place so antichrist here thank goodness for all of our other residence here that put out Christmas and appreciate the reason for Christmas Christ is risen. Amen

We spent two weeks over holidays here. Friendly large dog park. Small church service on Sunday mornings. Out of the way- no traffic except train a distance away- but no whistle. Easy on-off I10 to VA and museums Will return

I had a very scary incident with another resident in the part that actually pulled a weapon on me The sheriffs were called. They handled the situation. The park manager did nothing about the fact that she pulled a weapon on me. The park manager did nothing to handle this whole situation. The sheriff did handle the situation. The manager still has not handled what happened in our Park. I had a weapon pulled on me in this park and the manager did absolutely nothing. I am regarding the incident that happened in the park at cactus country RV park in our park. I had a weapon pulled on me. So I guess that’s OK with management to pull a weapon on someone and get away with it no repercussions at all you can pull a weapon on anybody in this park?!
