Cabin on the Creek

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Cabin on the Creek in Alto Pass, IL. Brian, the owner, is great and made sure to have everything we needed at the cabin. It's a beautiful, peaceful little cabin with a Creek right out the door. I loved all the trees and the feeling of being right out in the woods among nature. It was a great little getaway.

Cozy cabin with an incredible outdoor space hard to find with others.very private and quiet.corner adjoining patio doors pointing straight into the woods across a creek.saw deer two mornings while having coffee. The cabin was furnished even with some extras I haven't seen in others.large fireplace area with plenty of seating.the owner Brian was awesome, even answered my text with an actual call.thanks so much!!

This was an experimental first vacation to see how the kids would handle a 6hr drive. On the way there, we broke it up stopping at Hessel splash pad in Champaign. On the way home, we stopped at Boo Rochman Memorial Park in Carbondale and then a drive through zoo Aikman Wildlife Adventure in Arcola. These were all great places to break up the ride if you have kids. Without those stops, It may have been difficult. We wore them out and kept on truckin'. If you make this drive from the Chicago Area, savor the drive there. It's a very relaxing drive with no traffic on Interstate 57. Big open skies and cruise control. Wish I could say that about the way home but that special feeling of heading out towards your adventure is nothing like driving back to reality. Now, as for the five star

The very best time. Very family friendly, well stocked and clean. Everything you need to grill, have a fire, and to cook all your meals. Made many great family memories here, so much to explore!

"Just what the doctor ordered"...The cabin was very clean with nice modern furnishings.The hot tub on the deck was icing on the cake. Brian was very accommodating in meeting all of our needs. I will definitely be a repeat customer and I recommend Cabin on the Creek to everyone.
