Skyline View Cabins

Our stay at this cabin was heavenly. We stayed in Cabin #1. A camera can’t truly capture how beautiful the view from the upper porch is. The cabin is very clean and updated throughout. One can tell that Kelly, the proprietor, has invested in the property to ensure guests are delighted. The kitchen is well-appointed, down to details like spices even! We were impressed at how Kelly had thought of everything. It felt almost like we were cooking in our own kitchen!||The bedrooms are comfortable, particularly the lower level, open-concept living space. The cabin came stocked with board games even. I stayed here with my mom and my sister while we went wine tasting. The set up is a little funky, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. It was clean and had basic dishes and such with coffee and sugar provided. The location was perfect for our activities (wine tasting and shopping). The view from the deck was amazing! We saw 4 deer in the yard. There was a beautiful sunset one evening and we could see the Bald Knob Cross in the distance.

My wife and I stayed here on vacation. We loved the location for the hiking we did in the Shawnee Forest. The view from the deck was amazing! On the day we were to arrive, the host called to tell us a storm had knocked power out. She arranged another cabin for us that night and kept us updated until the power was back and we were able to get in to our cabin.

We were celebrating our 15yr anniversary. The cabin was spacious, clean (with the exception of a couple of ants but you are in the middle of the forest so not a big deal), had quality bedding and linens. Kelly had great recommendations for groceries store locations. The hot tub was spectacular and privacy between the cabin is well thought out. Great views!! Bring toiletries (with the exception of toilet paper). Highly recommend!

Pros: Cabin was easy to find & very clean. 2 kitchens made for easy meal prep. Hot tub was fantastic. View was wonderful. Cons: No place to hang any clothes, if you had such a need. Upstairs bathroom exhaust tan doesn't work. Fire pit area a mess from the last group ( cans/bottles/trash).
