Burr Oak Motel

My fiance and I stayed there for about 4 days. It was a very cozy Motel. The owners were so welcoming we hated to leave. The water was really hot in the shower we loved it the room was clean and it was a very big room the bed was comfortable we had no problem whatsoever. The price was great the owners are just wonderful people who went over and Beyond to make sure our stay with a good one I would definitely recommend this large and I would definitely go back there

This motel is really not that bad. I have stayed here twice, and will definitely stay again. They are pet friendly. My only problem I had was the first time I stayed. I had my cat with me and I thought the room could have been a little more clean. The second time I stayed I didn't have my cat. So the room was much better. But all was good, so if you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay this is a good one.

Stayed here for a wedding in a nearby town. The owners were great about letting us check in early so we could change and then go. room was pretty big, air conditioning worked well. They have a light cold breakfast, juice and coffee in the morning. ||||Our room was clean everything worked fine. It is an older hotel but everything was clean and worked. Didn't use the internet so no report on that. ||||It is a good value for the price. If you need something shiny and new go elsewhere. If you need clean and convenient with helpful owners and a good price stay here.

Cheap, no frills, very dated place. Bed was comfy. AC worked well. Fridge worked. Clean sheets, towels, etc. $65 for a night. Super nice people. Really kind. The place could use an upgrade but that would likely mean raised prices.

I’ve stayed in some bad motels and this was definitely one of them. The place has roaches and there was one in the fridge. They don’t vacuum the floors so I question how much they really clean and disinfect the rooms. They just let grime build up in every crack and crevasse. The whole countertop must’ve been used as a cutting board. The bed felt like a piece of cardboard on top of springs wrapped in a sheet. By far the worst bed I have ever laid in. They have one of those old floor heaters right under the head of the bed so all it does is make your bed super hot. The shower faucet isn’t high enough for anyone above 5’5”. Whenever the place was built, it hasn’t been updated or cleaned since then. They also must not care how people park because I was almost totally blocked in by 2 trucks at
