Bullwinkles Rustic Lodge

I was hoping for a quiet night on my road trip but it was dissapointing. The first room I was given wasn't turned over with one of the beds unmade and towels on the floor. The guy politely moved me to a room for free but it had no soap and the floors were so dirty I couldn't walk barefoot and I'm not that picky. Could've been a lot better. Also the bar was charging 15$ for a 12" FROZEN pizza.......

This place is the worst thing I’ve ever stayed at. The pictures online are obviously from the previous owners that took pride in the property. It is nothing like the photos. The first room they gave us, I refused to stay in. Sheets were dirty, shower curtain was full of mold, floors were filthy. Switched our room. That room had many issues as well. The smoke detector was removed from the wall, the sheets and pillows had black hairs all over them as well as dead lady bugs. There was a pile of black hair in the corner of the floor. Looked like someone got a haircut. Must be how the black hairs ended up in bed. It’s supposed to be a smoke free establishment, yet our room smelled of smoke and there was an ash tray on the table by the bed. The lounge was nice, but from what I was told is not ow

Our family stayed here in 2021... It was such a cute place, reasonably priced, nice and clean. We thought we'd come again and were excited about stopping. We stayed in October 2024... Rented 2 rooms. This time the rooms were dirty, old bugs smashed on the walls, bath tubs were not clean... There was scum on the walls of the bath tubs that we know would come off if cleaned properly. There was hair on the toilets and tubs. The garbage bags were so cheap they ripped when you put anything in them. There were spider webs all over the corners of the ceiling. The people running this place do not hire good cleaners at all. Very sad.... The decor and rooms were so cute a few years ago.... Could still be nice if they put some work into their place. We checked in on 11/27/25, quickly dropped of our baggage, and left to go to a family dinner. We didnt arrive back until around 10 pm and was able to look over the room and it was disgusting. There was mold on the shower curtain, the toilet or the sink faucet hadn't been cleaned recently, the refrigerator door and the iron holder was also dirty, the rug hadnt been vacuumed, there was broken glass on one of the decorative pictures on the wall, a cigarette burn on the blanket, and a chair that was extremely stained. The appearance of outside of the building is eye appealing but the reviews about the rooms are very misleading. We were too tired to leave so late so we went to bed and then left early the next morning. It was so bad that after deciding to stay with family we drove back to this h
