Budget Motel Granite City/St. Louis Area

It was okay. Needed some work but did the job. Definitely wouldn't go into it thinking alot but it does the job

...this was the worst motel I have EVER stayed in. The only reason we did stay was that I was stressed after losing our way on Route 66 as we were coming into St Louis and we were too exhausted to look for anything else! This motel is definitely not for tourists, and I think most of the guests are probably low paid workers (tariff is only $45 per night). The room was almost clean, the bed linen old and worn, and the bathroom felt dirty as well. The door jammed on closure and the toilet wobbled on it's base. ||An Indian woman took our money and gave us our room key. Her English was poor and she was lacking in any manners or helpfulness. There is no reception area just a window where you pay!||This motel was our worst example of Route 66 motels in which we stayed, that are now managed or own

The motel staff was horrible. Probably the worst I've ever experienced. The lady who was The owner of the motel, was mean & she was screaming at us because we didn't check out until 10 freaking minutes after 11am. The rooms were dirty. The toilet seat was scary to even sit on. There was chunks of paint floating in the bathtub from the bathtub itself. I had to clean the entire room before I was comfortable enuff to sit down. It cost me $75 to stay there!!!! I will never ever go there again not would I recommend it to my worst enemy...seriously!!!

I have stayed there many times over the years and it's always been clean, always pretty quiet & the only problem I've had was when the air conditioning wasn't working properly & they either did a quick fix Or they moved us to a different room!! So yes I recommend this little motel to anyone looking for a decent place to stay without the big prices thats better than most these days right!! 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏻👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Checkouts @ 🕚

We checked in early and was greeted and the clerk was happy to help us out. For a small hotel it was a nice place to stop for a good price.
