Budget Inn-Punta Gorda

Im giving a 3 star review for how sweet the manager Andrea was at the front desk, to help me and my daughters with a smooth check in / out. This hotel was like I was in "The Florida Project" movie. Very dingey, but I never felt unsafe, even with all the eccentric people they had staying there (im from florida and am used to motels like this) but I feel their rooms could use a good scrub down and then maybe some new furniture. The door kept sticking so bad I couldn't open or close without full force, they have regular keys, the toilet clogged i had to go to the front, like I said manager - SUPER SWEET GIRL. THE BEDS ARE SO COMFORTABLE AND THE PILLOWS are like im laying in a cloud. It reminds me almost of my disney cruises i went on. I killed 2 roaches there in the span of the 2 nights I sta

I only say 3 for the rooms because they are being updated. However the lady at the desk is amazing and so is the owner. They prefer you not to have pets but I have 2 therapy dogs and they were great at accommodating them with no questions asked. Of course they did make sure we had them trained and they wanted to be sure we kept the room clean. Honestly I can't say enough good things about this place. I've had to come down here to help my great aunt that fell last month and they answer and help me get the best room available even last minute. I told them I needed down stairs and they made sure my 11 year old dog got a downstairs room because he has bad hips. I can't wait to see when they are finished with the updates. Front Desk, Andrea, is exceptional. Towels are delivered daily. Privacy respected. Good, strong coffee daily included in stay. Swimming pool is clean. Inn feeling as there is short term guests and long term.
