Budget Host Inn Williams

Horrible staff, rude and ignore you. They charge your card even if you pay extra to pay in person. No soap, shampoo, or any commodities in the rooms. The bed was uncomfortable, and the bedding is stained. We will never stay here again.

We booked this hotel in a trip to Grand Canyon National Park. When we decided to go, all the hotels in the nearest and scenic town, Tusuyan, and the ones inside the Park were full. This was an late option alternative. The rooms could be cleaner. The breakfast which is included is not very good and is served in the reception (not a very cosy one). Good points bout it besides the location for the purpose of our trip: nice staff (an Indian family), a supermarket close to it where you can buy your breakfast (a good one).

Pleasantly surprised! Some reviews were less than stellar but I have to say our room was very nice. The room was spacious. The bedding was clean. The bathroom was clean. There was very good water pressure for showers and we had lots of hot water. The desk clerk also stayed late, because we were running extremely late, to give us our key. He was very welcoming and told us we could stay later in the morning to get rest if we needed it. All said… we had a very nice stay. And did I mention how affordable this room was. Very budget friendly. I would recommend this place to any one looking for a place to stay. Centrally located in Williams Az, a beautiful and historic town as well as 1 hour away from the Grand Canyon.

The room was not the cleanest, but it was bug-free and spacious. It is definitely outdated, but everything functions well enough. The beds are like sleeping on a slightly-more-springy-than-normal boxspring. The owners, however, were like split personalities. The husband was friendly and polite, but his wife was incredibly rude and short with us. Do NOT miss your checkout time or you face 1) the very loud and obnoxious singing of the housekeeper in the next room (thin walls) and 2) the wife calling, demanding to know when you're leaving and then saying everything is okay when you say you'll stay an extra night. She then calls again within an hour and demands payment at that exact instant without having communicated during her first phone call that they could not just add it on to your card.

Not a bad place. Recent remodel. Awesome bed! Nice clean room. Needs a place to hang your clothes though. And your coat! Great price for a one week stay also. It is also now Motel 6, instead of Budget Host. Parts are still being remodeled. 👍🏻
