Brunswick Hotel

I stayed there almost two years ago. The owner of the hostel, Hisham might look scary but he is amazing. Strict rules yet warming person. He keep the hostel organised, clean and safe. He took us the J1 students to another city to make social security, Walmart and whatnot on the first week. When my friend got into an accident at her job and crippled her leg, he took her to the hospital for check up. I almost burnt his hostel down on my first day because I overcooked the oven. He never kicked me out.

Calling it a hotel is generous, it's an old rooming house. As mentioned shared bathroom. I lived there for a few in the 80s. It has its purpose.

It sucks!.. its basically a dormitory. If you can stand sharing a bathroom with strangers on any and every floor or the prejudice landlord and no privacy you’re golden. No air conditioning, hardly has windows.

Near to the beach. Clean, safe, the price is according to the room

Owners don’t care as long as they making money, ripping off poor international student workers!
