Briarstone Inn

DO NOT GO BY THE PICTURES, they are very misleading, the room smelled terrible and there seemed to be people hanging around that you would think should not be there. They definitely could spend few more dollars to buy new sheets as ours had holes and the wash rags and towels need Clorox as they are stained with make up and look bad, also buy better toilet paper as it’s like paper. Will not stay there again .

It's an okay place to stay if you're not wanting to spend a lot of money on a room and don't need amenities like free breakfast or an in-room table or desk and chair. It's an older hotel so don't expect much from the ambiance. It's very basic, which is fine since we didn't plan to spend much time at the property. Our room was smoke-free but the property itself was definitely not smoke-free. It seemed like the norm for guests and employees to stand in doorways smoking with no self-awareness or courtesy for others. Also, when we were leaving one of the housekeepers thought it was a good idea to chase down my mom with a tip envelope and stand there waiting for her to put something in it.

I was a bit cautious after seeing the other reviews but I had already booked and it was just for one night. When I got there the front desk lady was friendly and helpful. We got to our room and it had a slight smell to the room but nothing we couldn’t handle. The room was nice, AC was blowing cold, shower had wonderful water pressure, TV was a smart tv with lots to watch, location was perfect and everything was bug free and very clean. The bed was super comfy and we slept no issues. I am glad we took a chance and stayed at Briarstone. The cost was affordable and the room and service was great as well. We will be back! Thank you Briarstone for a wonderful visit.

First time staying here and over all was a nice place to stay. The room was kinda small with all the store age space and they could use an upgrade on their sheets and comforters but other than that over all a decent place to stay for the price.
