BEWARE! As you can see from the other postings, there is definitely a problem with the water quality, and that is true. The septic backed up into My tiny house and I was without water for three days quality is still dangerous. More importantly, the reason I was originally posting on here was that I was a tenant for a year and a half paid my rent on time and was very responsible. Upon my move out by law within 30 days, Marie Pigg the property manager, With Darlene Carter, as the representative failed to give me an explanation of my deposit that was withheld within 30 days by law. When I received the explanation with $225 taken from my deposit with no receipts, I was told it was a cleaning deposit and a fee for drip pans for the stove. After living at Briar creek for a year, it is not a place to recommend at all,,roads getting into the place are awful not maintained at all, spots are tiny and everyone is right up in each other, mail is terrible so many spaces with multiple same numbers mixed up mail and deliveries, all mail goes to one central box and different residents get mail from box and deliver at their leisure, no mail slots on site from post office because property owner will not provide what is required by main post office, no grass just weeds and dirt that get mowed seldom, and water there is undrinkable, a hazard that stains everything it touches, smells and tastes like sewer water, animals not held to leash requirements at all, poor management, can never see or talk to owner, so he may not know all these comp

I had my tiny home at this community for almost 2 yrs. It seemed fine at first but then when Marie Pigg Real Estate took over the management it went downhill. They and the owner seemed little concerned about any issues that began. The well water was not maintained and when others did complain and they had someone come out, it was worse. Toward the end, I had to resort to only drinking bottled water and using for cooking as the well water was causing stomach issues due to sediment. The septic also had a bad odor when the sprinklers were going off so that was also not maintained properly. There was an oversized home allowed to move right next to my home that took some of my space and was in crooked and it looks out of place. Many other smaller issues but these are the main ones.
