Bourne's Ocean Acres Ogunquit

Not fancy, but a very functional place to stay in Ogunquit. It's an older motel, but both our room and other facilities were extremely clean and in good shape. Staff very friendly and helpful, prices are reasonable. The memory-foam king-size mattress was very comfortable. Even when the weather is cooler we enjoy taking a quick dip in the water. The indoor pool was refreshing, and both the water and the pool room were spotless. Their location is outside of the main tourist area, which is sometimes a blessing. Downtown and Perkins Cove often feature bumper to bumper traffic, and parking can be difficult to find. Excellent experience. My husband and I were looking for a quiet trip to the beach and this hotel delivered on many fronts. It's pushed back from the road and there are lots of trees around creating a more peaceful atmosphere. The room was spacious and very clean. It had everything we needed. The sheets and bedding had a very fresh but not overpowering scent. The shower pressure was excellent and the temperature was constant. The staff accommodated an early check-in and our request for a second floor room. The free candy, stickers etc were a nice touch. 10 minute walk to Footbridge beach which was beautiful and felt very untouched. Nice and quiet. There are many great restaurants literally nextdoor and across the street so we didn't feel the pressure to venture out. We did take the trolley

Staff are helpful and very friendly. The beds are very comfy. Wonderful grassy grounds under magnificent oak trees. We loved our 2 night stay. Had to drive onto town, but coming back to our room was great. If we ever get back to Maine, Ocean Acres will be our go-to motel!

Only stayed for one night on our way back from Bar Harbor. The motel is less than a mile from the little “downtown” area with great restaurants all along the way. The room was spotless and equipped with fridge, microwave, coffeemaker plus very comfortable beds. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, but we didn’t have time to check them out. The place is not fancy, but was perfect for our needs and was a great price as well.
