Bonita Resort & Club

Excellent office staff who try to accommodate your needs. You beach across the street which was nice. Resort had bikes to ride for a wonderful redone pool area which was great. I really enjoyed the hot tub, and grilled a number of times on there gas grills.

My family have enjoyed this resort every year since 1981. We have amenities, such as a private dock, boats for our use, large heated pool and a hot tub. Outside BBQ grills facing the water where you can cook and watch the dolphins and see all of their antics. It is a quiet peaceful atmosphere where you can relax. There are only 27 units in the resort lending to meeting new friends and seeing other guests who we have met over the years. The staff are all friendly and make it easy to have a good time at this resort.

Great location. Practicing social distancing and was able to feel safe there. The restaurant was right next door and we went around 3pm each day and had happy hour and not many people there. The pontoon boats are a fantastic plus! The charge $20 each time for fuel. We were able to fish off the boat and go to beach areas and swim. If you bring your own boat, the launch is right there next to the property. Hot tub wasn't hot but that was the only neg. Washer and dryer in every unit. We had the i bedroom and it is a bit small, but fine for 2 or 3 people. I think they had new mattresses. The best sleep I have had in a long time! Would love to visit again!

The resort although modest has an excellent location with really nice staff. The one bedroom unit is ok for a couple. Would be to small for more. It was hard to prepare meals as the counter space is limited and washing dishes in the small sink was hard. We used the dining table to store supplies. Having said this we would stay there again

Good points; location of condo is good. Easy access to beach across the street. The building is on the bay side. Nice view from our room. The pool and grounds are very nice. Not so hot points; the unit we stayed at was a one bedroom, one bath with kitchenette, we found the cooking utensils, ie. spatulas not clean. Also the floor would leave your feet dirty even on the first day. The pontoons for rent, while a good rental price, were very old and beat up. The building itself is very outdated and painted an ugly green.
