Boardwalk Beach Resort

Check in was great! When we got to our floor the whole hallway smelt like a nursing home/hospital. When we entered our room it was extremely out dated! The stove and fridge looked like it was from the 70’s the room looked like it was a cheap truck stop motel rather than a resort. When we looked in the bathroom the bath tub had no knob. We had to call the front desk and they sent maintenance to come fix it while we were at the pools. When we went to go lay in bed we checked the sheets and mattress and there was blood stains all over the sheets. Also body fluid on the top sheet as well. Called the front desk and a female worker said there was no one to bring us no sheets. She told us that we would have to come down to get them. My mother in law paid over 3 grand for 7 nights…. But the room smelled like smoke so strongly it was burning our eyes and nose. Immediately found dirt and sand in the beds. Stuff all over the floor. Mold in the bathrooms. Hair on the pillows. Murphy bed headboard was broken. Table was broken. For 5 people we were given 8 towels to last the week and told it would be $35 if we needed more. Room wouldn’t cool off because the curtains cover the ac. Had to prop stuff in front of the curtains to make them stay back so the room would cool off.

For the price you are paying this was amazing. If you are someone who criticizes everything then don’t stay here. However if you want a quiet family vacation without worrying about bugs or people then definitely book here. I was definitely disappointed when I first realized I wasn’t at the main building but once we got in our room we were happy. It was so quiet we didn’t have to worry about anyone. The room was clean and housekeeping was on point. The front staff were amazing. I will definitely stay again and request my same room. If I could give a 10 out of 10 I would. Thank yall for making my birthday weekend great.

Positive: Booked a suite BUT got a cheaper room for the same price Negative: Was not what I booked and they said they had no more rooms but people were checking in all through the night and the vacant sign was on all night . the suite would have had enough beds but I couldn't even get a roll away bed will never stay again

The only good thing about this hotel is the location, one of the beds was broke and room definitely was very outdated. The handle on the toilet was messed up. And the garage elevator was broke downs. The whole hotel smelled like weed.
