Blue Water Retreat

This is the dirtiest and most disgusting beach house I've ever rented. Everything inside the house was terrible; the smell was awful, and all the furniture was in poor condition, stained, and incredibly dirty. The bathrooms hadn't been cleaned since the house opened. The pictures shown online don't reflect reality. The water was also shut off. I've included some pictures to show what we experienced inside this terrible house, so you can judge for yourselves.

The house looks to be in prime location with great outdoor amenities, situated really far from neighbors so it offers a nice bit of privacy. The deck/balcony is nice and wide with unobstructed views of the sunrise and the waters. I haven't stayed here that I remember recently but seeing the views and location it definitely peaked my Interest to further look into it and keep it in mind for when I am looking for a nice little beach getaway. Not sure on its pricing for stay but rest assured that it'll be money well spent for what you get as far as the nature aspect of it.

*update* - received full refund from Airbnb. This rating should be no stars. And I am writing this review in hopes to save other people our horribale experience. We packed up and left this house at 9:30 last night (could not sleep there) and came home. When we checked in, we saw instantly that the photos on the listing in no way reflect the actual condition of the house. Those photos were, at least, 5-10 years old. That’s false advertising. The grill was rusted through and unusable. As you enter the house, stains on the walls and doors, filthy floor, filthy kitchen, filthy utensils, bowls, pots, pans. Glass missing out of the cabinet doors. Rusted everything and the water stunk and was rusty and not fit for consumption. Continued walkthrough and found stained toilets and sinks and tub. Th

Most disgusting vacation rental property ever stayed at, and I travel for a living. Giving it one star is the only option, no star is what it deserves. booked for two nights, left four hours after check-in. roaches, bugs, mosquitoes, out dated / entire property is old and very weathered. water is basically unusable the entire property, they warn and suggest you bring your own water to consume and cook, but you can’t even shower with it, it leaves you smelling like a rust bucket and with foamy texture, my husband felt cleaner before he showered. Horrible I would not stay here if I could help it. The rooms lack basic amenities. The a/c is not even connected to the unit. The water pressure is abysmal and good luck trying to get hot water in the showers. Front door leaks water in when it is raining. 2 Storm doors stuck when trying to bring them up. The main issue was storm door for the main door broke on us so we can not enter or exit thru the front door. Tried to tell host about the front door being broken and was told “someone would be out to fix it” I believe the ability to lock up my belongings or keep kids safely inside the home should be an emergency priority. The house is secluded from the beach but not even close to a secluded beach. You’ll have people blasting loud music from the public beach and you’ll have people driving c
