Blue Tree Resort at Lake Buena Vista

Initially, room was clean, inviting. Room location was in the far rear of the resort. Less than desirable views. On our last day, I noticed a large cockroach. alive upturned in its back. As they may be common in this climate. I was completely disgusted as I have never experienced one before. Incited paranoia as I feared them getting into luggage and hitching a ride home. All belongings have been quarantined and washed. Has a nice heated pool and hot tub our family enjoyed. We did not receive any towels or trash removal during our 4 day stay.

Location was awesome. 10 miles or less to most attractions. Time always depended on traffic. 4 pools (3 heated), which was great. Rooms could have been better, however, we did one through a timeshare and we were not in a updated room. When we called about issues, they were on it right away (elevator not working, no hot water, no hot water again, shower curtain rod falling off the wall, curtain not closing so water everywhere when you showered...in cold water). We never did end up with hot water, but they were working on it and aware, and seemed to care. Could use a little deeper cleaning. We would stay here again. Not the nicest place, but it did just fine.

Blue Tree was a great place to stay for our first trip to Disney World and Epic Universe! The unit was very clean, very quiet, and very well stocked with everything you would need. We didn’t make use of many of the resort amenities because we were Disney bound. We did use 1 pool and the hot tub one evening and they were both great. Check in and check out were stemless.

Staff and amenities were fantastic. Great location. We used the business center which was a bonus, and we were so busy we didn't even get a chance to use what looked like great pools and mini golf. Sent over a recycle receptacle upon request (so request it!). We were in a building that seemed a little older (described as recently rehabbed, which it was), so the unit was a little smaller than we are used to for a group of four -- I will never understand why resorts can sleep 4+ but only provide 3 places to sit comfortably in the living area (one chair, one sofa) when we are all awake. Also we were never able to get hot water from the showers; we got warm water, sometimes just room temperature was the best we could get. We had an issue with our room on Christmas night and were missing a few items, which could have easily turned into a very stressful situation. Ana at the front desk handled everything swiftly, professionally, and with genuine care. Despite it being a busy holiday and her assisting multiple guests at the same time, she made sure we felt heard and taken care of from start to finish. Her calm attitude, efficiency, and customer service truly stood out and turned our experience around. Ana is a huge asset to this property, and we’re very grateful for her help.
