Blue Sky Inn

Staff was nice and the location is good for being close to town. The room however had dead lady bugs all over the floor and the shower had the previous guests hair stuck to the tub and walls. When we entered there was an immediate smell of cigarette smoke even though no smoking is permitted in the rooms. Also there was a gap in the door leading outside. The bed was a slab of memory foam, was slightly comfortable but definitely not for multiple nights sleep comfortable.

Positive: Close to everything, easy to find . This is an older hotel that has been updated. It?s a great place just don?t think it?s going to be a Hilton Negative: None

Older facility but updated rooms, free happy hour but limited to 2 drinks, full breakfast with eggs, bacon, made to serve waffles, yogurt and more, fire pit, mountain view all for $90. The location is great as its 2.0 miles from the train. Staff is very friendly.

Stayed 2 nights. Appeared very nice and clean. Bed ok, pillows very comfy. Manager lady at front desk was wonderful and very nice. Breakfast was really nothing to write home about. Very basic. Second night a different story. Walked into our room and killed 3 live cockroaches climbing on wall and floor!! We packed up everything into car, had to sleep there but left very early! Beware hot water gets very hot. Price was a bit steep for the place

Let me tell you about Blue Sky. If you need anyone in the office before 8 or after 4 you are out of luck Room had no toilet paper and couldn't get any, no one answered the phone that was to be answered 24/ no tissues and 1 trash can 7 inches tall. Had the only hotel in NC charge us 4 different taxes with made a 109 a night room into a 150 a night room and don't get me started on the mattress with divets in them and pillows that was as flat as pancakes. Why did we stay- absolutely NO refunds and could not waste $300 oh and their full breakfast was about the worse we have seen.
